This site was setup back in late 2007 by NoRC to cater for the Australian & New Zealander Playstation 3 owners who were suffering serious lag issues in Infinity Wards Call of Duty 4. The idea behind the site was to provide a means for players to populate their lists with other Aussies & Kiwis who had Call of Duty 4 and other games which didnt feature a full lobby system that let you choose the server you wanted to play on based on ping times.

Not long after we started running our nightly game sessions for fellow Aussies & Kiwis a new clan was also formed out of the regular players on the site who wore the OPP gamer tag which stands for OzPS3Party. This quickly led to the formation of an offical clan, OPP! Starting primarily in the Call of Duty 4 area OPP was a rag tag bunch of Aussies who enjoyed their beer and gaming... playing nightly games in a loose team based way supporting one another on the field it was decided that we had to be more offical than we were.

This site was originaly built soley for the OPP Clan, but as times have changed and our member base is growing.. we felt the need to offer a neutral open site for all gamers, thus OzGamerParty. Realising not all clans have access to designers, programmers and hosting Oz Gamer Party caters for them offering clans a free location to setup themselves with quick access to tools to organise themselves in matchs and their own forum... Whilst our forum has clan only areas it also has the general discussion areas so that people arnt isolated into their clan only. We are constantly upgrading, adding new features and what not, so if you have any suggestions or ideas feel free to let us know.

Our supported games database continually grows to cater for all the latest of the PS3 games which are WORTH PLAYING online.
